LOS ANGELES (AP) – A judge has ended Lindsay Lohan’s probation in a necklace theft case and says she appears to be doing well with a plan to complete community service and counselling requirements in another criminal matter.

Los Angeles Superior Court Judge James R. Dabney said at a hearing Thursday that Lohan received favourable reports from her counsellor and an agency in London that works with neglected children and disabled people. Lohan is performing community service there.

The judge said Lohan has completed 102 hours of a 240-hour community service sentence.

The 28-year-old Lohan remains on probation in a reckless driving and lying to police case filed after she crashed her Porsche into a dump truck on the way to a film shoot in 2012.

Lohan had been on probation for a 2011 case in which she was accused of taking a $2 500 necklace from a Venice store without permission.
