Teen shot in The Pine

A SEVENTEEN-YEAR old youth is currently undergoing medical care at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital after sustaining a gunshot wound to his abdomen.

According to acting police public relations officer Station Sergeant (Ag.) Roland Cobbler, the incident happened at Golden Rock, The Pine St Michael around 2 a.m. this morning.

The victim was transported to the hospital by ambulance and rushed to emergency surgery.

Police are investigating the matter. (JS)
