The Barbados Water Authority is involved with as many as seven projects which will stop it from having to depend on Government funding.
Minister of Agriculture Dr David Estwick made this disclosure yesterday evening, while addressing a meeting of the St Lucy constituency branch of the Democratic Labour Party (DLP) in Pie Corner.
It was a meeting in which Estwick said he was breaking a self-imposed quiet period and intended to “get back on the warpath”, doing the things he needed to.
It was also one in which he said Government would press ahead with plans to restructure the sugar industry, even while people were calling for its abandonment.
