Man falls from hotel balcony

POLICE ARE TRYING to identify a painter who fell from the balcony of a hotel today.

The man, believed to be in his 50s, was taken from the scene in critical condition after suffering injuries about his body and head. He was part of a company contracted to carry out the work at the hotel.

Acting Assistant Superintendent of Police, David Welch said that the authorities were unable to elicit any information from the unconscious man and his next of kin could not be notified.

The incident occurred around 2 p.m. (AC)
