A SEA OF PURPLE and orange is on Bridgetown streets as walkers and runners turned out for the 2014 NATION Funathlon this afternoon.

Held under the theme Show Your Love, the orange represents the show of love, while the purple is in support of an end to violence.

People from all walks of life – and even the dogs – have joined the funathlon as the sun came out for the first time this weekend after two days of torrential rain which left some parts of the Barbados flooded.

The walk got underway with hundreds of individual walkers, runners and groups, all out for a good cause. (CM/SAT)
