THE CURTAIN CAME DOWN on the 2014 National Independence Festival of Creative Performing Arts with the Gala this evening at the Gymnasium of the Garfield Sobers Complex before an appreciative crowd.

Patrons were treated to the cream of performances that made a successful run from the preliminaries to the finals.

One of the highlights was an appreciation for late dancer and culturist Esme Wickham.

The event was in association Digicel, Sagicor, Scotiabank, Massy and Caribbean Broadcasting Corporation. (JS)
