Traffic regulations for Independence parade

A NUMBER OF traffic changes will be in effect on Monday, December 1, to facilitate the Independence Ceremonial Parade at the Bridgetown Port, beginning at 8 a.m.

Between 7 a.m. and 11 a.m., vehicles will not be allowed to park or remain stationary on University Row, Samuel Jackman Prescod Boulevard, Fontabelle Road, President Kennedy Drive, Cheapside, Broad Street, Bridge Street, Probyn Street and Fairchild Street, except for the purpose of setting down or picking up passengers.

Police officers will be posted at all intersections near the Bridgetown Port and along the route of the march through The City to Independence Square. (BGIS)
