WHAT happens when an aggressive attacker meets a never-say-die defender with $12 000 at stake?

If I knew the answer I would not be joining the thousands who will journey to the Villages at Coverley tonight to see defending champion Mark “Venom” Griffith battle his nemesis Antoine “Lil Man” Daniel in the Massy United Insurance Clash Of The Titans road tennis finals.

Daniel, the highly exciting and captivating shots master, has already declared that he likes money and that although he is guaranteed $6 000 as one of the finalists, “twelve is more than six”. 

However, for both players the battle is personal, with Daniel out to continue his humility lesson for Griffith and the champion is in a bid to redeem his game and pride against Daniel. Griffith was on the point of pursuing a three-peat at Silver Hill before Daniel came out of retirement and halted his rise.
