Two deaths overnight

POLICE IN BARBADOS are investigating two deaths which occurred yesterday.

A 50-year-old ZR van driver Clevis Worrell was discovered dead in his vehicle last night. People initially thought he was resting in the vehicle, parked at a gas station, but a check revealed that the Sherbourne, St John resident was dead.

Police are also investigating the drive-by shooting death of 31-year-old Ricardo Francois in an incident that left four other people nursing injuries.

The injured were at a roadside bar, fired on by at least two men who had emerged from what was described as a taxi. (TY)
