REVEREND DR HOLMES WILLIAMS, founder and pastor emeritus of The People’s Cathedral, is in hospital.

A member of the church confirmed that Williams was in the Queen Elizabeth Hospital but declined to go into details.

Reports are that he is in the Intensive Care Unit after being admitted there last week.

Williams, a former banker who started his ministry in 1960 in his living room, has seen the church grow to about 4 500 baptized members. (JS)
