Todds workers in the dark

Workers of Todds Estate Ltd., most of whom were laid off in June, are unsure what’s their future with the agricultural operation.

But despite some of them making their way yesterday to the offices of CLICO Corporate Centre on Walrond Street, The City, where the officials responsible for the estates operate, they were none the wiser after waiting for almost two hours without seeing anyone.

The group of ten men said they had been told to report to work yesterday, but when they got to the plantation in St John it was still closed. (LK)
