THE FAIRCHILD STREET Bus terminal has received a $34 000 enhancement, thanks to telecommunications company LIME.

The enhancement project was designed to make the terminal a bit more pleasant and appealing for commuters.

Today Minister of Transport and Works Michael Lashley and officials of the Ministry and the Barbados Transport Board toured the inner and outer environs of the terminal to see the enhancements which included painting and power washing.

Another feature of the enhancement project is the availability of free Wi-Fi at the terminal.

LIME’s chief financial officer Patrick Hinkson said, “It is important for students when they have time while waiting for the bus and they want to use the internet for homework . . .”.  (LK)
