New fence at Dover facility

The popular sporting facility in Dover has become the first to benefit from Sandals’ US$65 million investment in Barbados with the seaside venue gaining a new fence and the promise of more support as the international group officially launches its local establishment next month in Barbados.

In lauding that support from Sandals, Minister of Health and MP for the area, John Boyce, welcomed the assistance the Dover cricketers and Paradise footballers would gain over the coming seasons.

Boyce and Minister of Sport Stephen Lashley were part of the handing-over ceremony of the fence yesterday at Dover, where manager of Sandals, Radu Mot, indicated that the repairing of the fence was part of their environmental support programme in Barbados.
