THE TWO TINY packages did not come to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH) on a sleigh, but were welcomed Christmas deliveries nonetheless.

Around 3 a.m., Shanell Wickham gave birth to her six-pound 15-ounce baby girl.

The second baby was born to first-time mum Yolanda David. Her daughter made a premature arrival just after 9 a.m. weighing in at one-pound seven ounces. The baby is currently in the Neo-natal Intensive Care Unit.

Three other women are currently in labour at the QEH and there are no admissions at Bayview Hospital so far. (YB)
