VERY FEW BARBADIANS took to the usually popular picnic spots and beaches across the island today.

Only two families gathered at King George V Park and only one at Three Houses Park, both in St Philip.

Meanwhile, members of the Sion Hill New Testament Church held their annual Sunday School picnic at Bath Beach, St John.

Pastor John Austin said the church had been hosting the Boxing Day picnic for more than 40 years.

Browne’s Beach was one of the more popular beaches, while Brandon’s was quiet. (LK)
