Four hurt in crash

ONE MAN WAS TAKEN to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH) by ambulance yesterday following a two-vehicle collision on Maxwell Main Road, Christ Church.

The accident occurred around 5 a.m. and involved a van driven by Andrew Thorington, 28, of Glen Acres, St George, and a car driven by Michael Haynes, 28, of Rockley Resort, Christ Church.

Haynes complained of severe pain about the body and was transported to the QEH. Three passengers in his vehicle also complained about pain but sought medical attention privately. (JS)
