ONE OF THE ISLAND’S LUXURY HOTELS is reporting full occupancy to the point of facing challenges accommodating everyone who wants to make reservations.
Guest services manager Alpha Jackman, of the world famous Sandy Lane, said there were many repeat guests which, coupled with new arrivals, kept the resort on its toes.
The occupancy level is in keeping with tourism officials’ forecast of a good winter season that started last month.
“We’ve had a number of new guests this year and the challenge we are going to have going forward is that the new guests want to come back and the ones who missed this year also want to come back.
“We were 100 per cent for New Year’s and we are looking very good for the year as February is always a good month for us. We are looking forward to a very good season,” he said.
