It was one of the much anticipated events for Christmas, and music lovers who turned out at the Frank Collymore Hall for the Classical Best Of Youth Concert IV were not disappointed.

One of the those occasions when several patrons were a bit more than elegantly casual in dress, a reminder of the early days of the hall when people got dressed up for an evening there.

The Rotary Club South’s presentation of its fourth annual concert featuring the young budding musicians of the Barbados National Youth Symphony Orchestra, led by Joy Knight-Lynch, was well received.

Featured artistes, seven-year-old pianist Alanna Crouch and Barbados’ premier soprano Amanda Fields, also treated the audience to an evening of fine music.
