Man remanded on drug charges

A ST JAMES man was remanded to prison until February 2 when he appeared in court today on a number of drug charges.

Thirty-five-year-old Rommel Orlando Jordan of #3 Endeavour was arrested by members of the Drug Squad and charged with possession of cannabis, possession with intent to supply, trafficking, cultivation, possession of apparatus and money laundering.

Police say a search warrant was carried out at his residence on January 4, 2015 and 116 cannabis plants were discovered on his premises along with 18 grammes of hashish, 180 grammes of loose cannabis, United States and Barbados currency and a number of scissors. (PR/NB)
