The man who did not resign from the Employment Rights Tribunal (ERT) last month when his colleagues did, is now being appointed as its deputy chairman.

Sources close to the Freundel Stuart Cabinet revealed over the weekend that when the ministers meet today at Government Headquarters on Bay Street, having not met for the past two Thursdays because of the Christmas and New Year’s holidays, Cabinet will be asked to agree to the appointment of Ryan Omari Drakes as one of two deputy chairpersons.

The second person being appointed as deputy chairman of the tribunal is Kathy-Ann Hamblin, while Queen’s Counsel Hal Gollop is to get the nod as chairman.
