The BFA launched its first specific, certified coaching course last Saturday at the Wildey Gymnasium – the Barbados Football Association D Licensed Coaching Course.
Thirty participants will engage in four days of instruction under the tutelage of BFA technical director Marcos Falopa at the Barbados Olympic Association headquarters and the BFA Astroturf, where they will engage in technical, tactical and psychological activities and testing on and off the pitch.
“Testing will be done, of course, but to assess if the coaches grasp the methodology so that we can support them, not to say whether they pass or fail,” Falopa said.
