Like father, like son.
It was the father and son team of Richard and Simon Proverbs, who stole the thunder at the fourth annual Sagicor General Insurance Family Golf Championships held at the Barbados Golf Club (BGC), Sunday.
The Proverbs family enjoyed an outstanding day on the fairways and greens as they registered the best nett score of 61 (the score after handicaps were applied) to emerge overall nett champions while the husband and wife pairing of Mark and Leiza Blakeley continued their good run of form, to win the overall gross title with 67 on the count-back.
