Ugly sight returns to Dover

An ugly sight continues to pop up at Dover, Christ Church.

A long-standing visitor to the island took a picture of the overflowing skip opposite the Dover Beach facility yesterday.

The same skip, which falls under the National Conservation Commission and is operated by Hinds Transport Services, was highlighted late last month for a similar unsightly and unsanitary problem.

A disappointed Harry “The General” Suke, who has been coming to the island for 34 years, snapped the photograph which was emailed to our offices.

The garbage was reportedly moved by the end of the day. (AC)

Here, the trash piled high yesterday. (GP)
