BFA money still missing

The Barbados Football Association (BFA) has not been able to recoup any of the money allegedly misappropriated from that organisation prior to the installation of the present administration.

But in an interview with the MIDWEEK NATION, president Randy Harris said his organisation had successfully recovered some of the equipment which had originally been earmarked for official use within the BFA. However, there had been no such success with the cash, he added.

In January 2014, an official of the new BFA hierarchy had publicly stated that thousands of dollars in cash and equipment to be used for the development of football had been misappropriated contrary to the dictates of the world governing body for football, FIFA.
