Red athletes leave them feeling blue

So much for Blue’s reign.

Red are all but certain of regaining their place atop Sharon Primary sports once again after dominating the track segment of yesterday’s meet at the National Stadium.

With the earlier field scores still left to be tabulated, Red’s (Sobers) margin of victory wasn’t known up to press time, but at that point they held a sizeable 120-point lead on Blue (Gomes) after amassing 438 points on the day.

This was after Blue registered a shocking win last year to briefly put an end to their rivals’ stranglehold over school sports.

But the one-year wonders couldn’t reproduce the magic of a year ago, with Blue tallying 318 on the track while Green (Moore) and Gold pulled up the rear with 265 and 186 points, respectively.
