PHYLLIS WASHBURN turned 100-years-old today.

She got a special visit from Governor General Sir Elliott Belgrave, who joined the celebration at her grand-daughter’s 38 Prior Park Crescent North, St James home.

Also present was Washburn’s childhood friend Beulah Mackie who is also a centenarian.  Mackie’s big day was in May last year.
Washburn spoke of God’s commitment to her throughout her long life.

“I cannot do it myself.  I did not do it myself. I did it through the Holy Spirit and I still depend on him. (LK)
