FLYING FISH & COU COU: Bailiffs in hot pursuit

OFTEN IN LIFE when one thing goes wrong, it is followed by another and another.

That is the situation afflicting a certain person these days.

This new troubling situation comes after an embarrassing one related to certain matters.

From what Cou Cou has been told this individual is now being pursued by bailiffs for an outstanding credit card debt of at least $15 000.

It would seem the management of the bank involved has grown tired of the promises to pay, and have decided to exercise their legal right to get what is duly theirs.

Those aware of the situation are saying that this individual needs to put his personal situation in order if he hopes to remain an important figure.

Wifi plug pulled

THE WIFI PLUG was pulled at a facility that works 24 hours because the bosses felt some staffers were spending too much time surfing and playing games, rather than performing their tasks.

The order was given last Friday.

According to one of the workers, the entire facility was given access to the internet as part of the progressive thrusts to drag the institution into the 21st century. The move was considered essential as it allowed veteran staffers and trainees alike to use the internet to assist in their work with the several scores of clients they interact with.

This person said the internet was particularly helpful to trainees who honed their craft at the institution. Apart from being able to get indepth information about critical aspects of the job to complement their classroom tuition, they were able to use the Wifi to get on YouTube and see how certain things they have to do on the job should be done.

The workers now fear the service will stay off throughout the facility, though the bosses continue to enjoy it.

They are calling on their bosses to have dialogue with the workers, especially the ones known to abuse the Wifi service, so as to get them to be more responsible in their usage.

Most if all, they want the service to recommence.

Attorney grabs cash

A FATHER’S attempt to ensure his daughter got her due, and not leave it to the whims of his spouse has come to nought. The reason?

His daughter gave the money to her trusted attorney for safe keeping until she needed it. Unfortunately, now that she wants the funds to start doing things, she can’t get it.

From what Cou Cou was told, the attorney, who is supposed to be her good friend, has not been too responsive in giving her back the six-figure-plus sum she had put into his care.

Because of this, the woman is said to be distraught and angry.

She is now talking to close friends and associates of the attorney to get them to intervene on her behalf and pave the way for her to get her due. That is her only ray of hope at this time, other than seeking justice in the law courts.

In need of muzzle

A CASE of “shame and scandal in the family” has erupted among a very tight-knit clan.

At the centre of the controversy is a relative who seemingly loves to hear the sound of their voice, so much that they just talk and talk to the point of irrelevance.

Though this person tends to get away with their often nonsensical logic, this time someone has called the individual to account for statements made.

However, those who know of this person’s love for gabbing are suggesting a muzzle be placed on their mouth to eliminate their talkativeness.
