THE VENUE may have been different but the winners surely weren’t.

Make that six Westbury sports titles in a row for Green House, who came back from a daunting early morning deficit to rally for their latest inter-house crown at the Desmond Haynes Oval in Carlton, Black Rock, yesterday.

Led by some brilliant individual performances from no less than six standout athletes, the perennial powerhouses racked up 349 points to survive serious threats from both Blue and Yellow, who finished with 320 and 310 points respectively. Red pulled up the rear on 243.

But the change from the customary Harrison College field seemed certain of producing a change in champions, too, as Blue (238) and Yellow (216) held significant leads over the slow-starting Green machine (204).
