THERE’S A WHITE HOUSE outside the nation’s capital everyone else would like to be part of.
Just ask the students of the Belmont Primary.
It has the mark of winner written all over it and that raised the self-esteem of many yesterday.
The White House students earned the admiration of both parents and teachers yesterday when they retained their crown at the Samuel Jackman Prescod Polytechnic grounds.
White won the championship, scoring 844.5 points, squeezing the juice out of Orange, who got 798, and pulled out the paws of the Purple Panthers, who had 668.5.
The small school with a roll only big enough to have three houses could be proud of who they put on display before a big, enthusiastic crowd of parents, guardians and other well-wishers.
