TWO MEN are expected to appear in court today charged with possessing and fishing for sea eggs during the closed season.
Fifty-four-year-old Erskine Adolphus Pollard and 43-year-old David Orlando Bennett, both of Bath Land, St John, were arrested and charged separately following a Marine Unit operation at Bath Beach on January 31.
Both men were allegedly seen and held with bags containing sea urchins. Police say Pollard was found with 150 sea eggs while Bennett was found with 218 sea eggs. (PR/NB)
