IN PURSUIT of his Olympic and World Championship dreams, Combermere schoolboy Tyrese Knight set off for Sweden yesterday on another phase of an exciting table tennis journey.

The talented 15-year-old, who is being accompanied by coach Trevor Farley, is scheduled to participate in a training camp and compete in a safari that comprises a number of tournaments played in various parts of Sweden.

“I feel good about the opportunity to go to Sweden to train with experienced coaches and also players,” Knight told WEEKEND SPORT on the eve of his departure.

“In table tennis I only have two goals, to go to the Olympics and to become a world champion,” he said.
