POLICE HAVE RECOVERED more than $3 000 from last month’s Scotiabank robbery in Black Rock, St Michael, and have arrested a Christ Church man in connection with it.

The suspect, who is believed to be the man wearing a mask and gloves and armed with a gun when he held up the bank on January 27, is expected to appear in the District “A” Magistrates’ Court today.

Lawmen have also made a breakthrough in a series of robberies in the Black Rock, St Michael area with the arrest of another man.

Meanwhile, for the second time within a week, law officers have come under gunfire from bandits. (TS)
