BE CAREFUL WHAT photographs you send to people via your computer, tablet or cellphone as they can get you arrested.

According to police, if the photographs you send cause people annoyance, inconvenience, distress or anxiety through these mediums, you are breaking the law.

And if a report is made to the police by the affected person and from their investigations you are charged and found guilty of such an offence, you could spend 12 months in jail or be fined $10 000.

Word of this came yesterday from acting Assistant Superintendent David Welch as he expressed disgust at the practice which, he said, was causing the loved ones of victims major anxiety and distress.
