Valentine’s Day came early for many at the Soroptimist Village and Activity Centre in Eden Lodge, St Michael, as the little ones of the neighbouring Eden Lodge Nursery School made their annual visit on Thursday.
The village was decorated with all the frills associated with Valentine’s Day as the youngsters danced energetically and sang lustily to and with their elders at the centre.
Accompanied by a teacher on percussion, the children sang a number of old spiritual favourites to the group as beautiful smiles enveloped the faces of the elders who had a grand time as they clapped, sang, rocked in their chairs and cheered on the little ones.
