Three charged in connection with death of Lamar Carter

A TWENTY-FIVE YEAR-OLD woman is one of three people who will appear in court tomorrow charged in connection with the murder and body dump of a youngster in St Thomas last week.

Melissa Carla Griffith, a 25 year-old businesswoman of Grazettes, St Michael, and Fidel Nkomo Alleyne, a 36 year-old tradesman also of Grazettes, are accused of murdering 22 year-old Lamar Devere Carter, on February 10.

javed-alleyneAlleyne’s brother, Javed Riad Alleyne (left), for whom police had issued a wanted notice and who turned himself in, will also appear in court today.

The 31 year-old Rockley Village, Rockley, Christ Church man has been charged with assisting an offender.

Carter, of Spring Farm, St Thomas, was allegedly shot and suffered other injuries.

His body was found in the rear of a car after police chased a vehicle, out of which two men fled. (HLE)
