Surf’s up

THE ISLAND’S COASTS are taking a pounding from Mother Nature.

But luckily, Barbadians and visitors are heeding the red flags that have been planted, not only on the east coast, but along the normally placid west coast as well.

The only people testing the huge swells were surfers, like this body boarder at Batts Rock, St Michael, who appeared to be studying the swells before taking to the water.
