Return of the Bulls

IT’S THE SEASON of comebacks.

The Clapham Bulls are back, and so too is their beleaguered head coach Barry Rock, with both iconic Premier League mainstays set to make their much awaited return on Tuesday to bounce off the Co-operators General Insurance Basketball Knockouts.

They will no doubt serve as the main stories heading into what should otherwise be an uneventful season-opening night  at the Wildey Gym featuring Clapham’s first-round game against the schoolboys before Urban Vybz St John’s Sonics face Cougars.

Having spent last year in the lower First Division, the Bulls may only be too happy just to be playing top flight basketball again after watching their record 28-year Premier League stay come to an end in 2013.
