Canadian on cocaine charges

A CANADIAN cruise ship passenger is expected to appear in the District “A” Magistrates’ Court today charged with four drug offences.

Police say 39-year-old Clifford Uba Ejimamu was arrested and charged after Drug Squad personnel conducted a search of a cabin he occupied on the Oceana.

Cocaine weighing 1.5 kilogrammes was reportedly discovered and seized.

Ejimamu has been charged with possession of cocaine, possession with intent to supply, trafficking and importation. (PR/NB)
