FOUR GOALSs from the mallet of the in-form Christian Chavez helped his Clifton Polo team to a comfortable 7-3 victory against the Silver Point team when the Roger Gooding Memorial Open tournament continued at the Apes Hill ground last weekend.
In a match that was shifted from the Lion Castle grounds because of a wet outfield, Chavez exhibited exceptional stick work to leave his opponents clueless as how to stop his rampage.
He scored the first of his eventual four goals in the match just three minutes into the opening chukka. Two minutes later the hard-hitting Oliver Taylor equalised with a gem of a shot that pierced the defence of his opponents. (CH)
