LOS ANGELES (AP) – A judge has ordered Lindsay Lohan to perform 125 hours of community service after a prosecutor determined the actress improperly received credit for performing in a London stage play.
Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Mark Young set a March 12 hearing to choose an agency where Lohan can perform the hours to complete her sentence in a reckless driving case.
Lohan’s attorney had reported in January that the Mean Girls star had completed 250 hours of service with a London charity, but a prosecutor was unconvinced.
Santa Monica Chief Deputy City Attorney Terry White said Wednesday that Lohan received credits for time she spent performing Speed-the-Plow at London theatre. He said Lohan’s lawyer, Shawn Holley, agreed that some of the hours would be redone at a new organisation.
