Third man charged in murder of Albert Boyce

POLICE HAVE FORMALLY charged a third man with the offence of murder in connection with the shooting death of 20-year-old Albert Boyce, of Reed Street, Bridgetown. 

He is Jamar Jamal Greaves, 28, of Grape Hall, St Lucy.  Boyce died at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital after being shot on the morning of December 7, 2014 whilst at Lower President Kennedy Drive, St Michael. 

Romario Akeem Phillips, 22, of 10th Avenue, New Orleans and Nicholas Akeem Tio Shorey, 23, of 3rd Avenue, Parris Gap, both in St Michael, were also charged in connection with this death. They have been remanded to prison.

Greaves also received additional charges of unlawful possession of firearm and robbery.

He is expected to appear at the District “A” Magistrates’ Court tomorrow. (PR/NB)
