THERE WAS A GOAL DROUGHT last Thursday night when the Digicel Premier League continued at the National Stadium.
A solitary goal was scored in the night’s two-game fixture. This goal was scored by Solaris Pinelands as they defeated the University of the West Indies (UWI) 1-0 in the second game.
In the opening encounter, Direct TV Paradise displayed discipline and tactical brilliance to hold high-flyers Rendezvous to a 0-0 draw.
Rendezvous have put five past each of their opponents in their last two matches, while Paradise were on the receiving end of a 5-0 drubbing by defending champions, the Barbados Defense Force Sports Programme (BDFSP).
Therefore, with those facts available anyone would have predicted a heavy thumping for the Dover boys.
