Windies ‘will bounce back’

PERTH – Even though he manhandled their bowling attack and took captain Jason Holder to the cleaners, South African star batsman A.B. de Villiers says he backs the West Indies to bounce back at the ICC Cricket World Cup.

A tired West Indies team arrived in Western Australia yesterday after their five-hour flight from Sydney where the smoke is still settling from de Villiers’ bat since his whirlwind unbeaten match-winning century.

Just before he wrapped up his Press conference on Friday night, de Villiers expressed nothing but admiration for Holder and even defended the West Indies team when reporters suggested that they were not worthy opponents.
