DAVE CAMERON has been given a fresh mandate to take charge of West Indies cricket.
The under-fire Cameron was re-elected as president of the West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) after overcoming a challenge from Barbados Cricket Association (BCA) president Joel Garner at the regional governing body’s annual general meeting in Jamaica yesterday.
In a fairly predictable outcome, Cameron won 8-4 against Garner, while vice-president Emmanuel Nanthan also retained his post with a similar margin of victory against Baldath Mahabir of Trinidad and Tobago.
