Man ‘lucky to be alive’

IF THE BULLET that passed through Henry “Joe Green” Clement’s body was lower, he would not be alive today.

Clement, 61, of Wheel Lane, Lammings, St Joseph, and friend Hugh “Ebby” Kellman were attacked in a reported home invasion by two men in the wee hours of yesterday morning.

Clement was shot above the heart, while Kellman was hit in the head with the gun butt.

Still shaking yesterday evening, Clement recounted the frightening experience in a room with signs of the attack – blood on the floor and a bullet hole in the wall.
