WELL KNOWN ADMINISTRATOR Bobbi McKay is on the mend after one of the most harrowing experiences of her life.

The executive director of the Barbados Manufacturers’ Association (BMA) said yesterday she was extremely happy to be alive after surviving a life-threatening aneurysm.

“I can’t remember all the details, everything is a bit fuzzy, but what I do know is that I had the worst headache I ever had in my life,” she told the DAILY NATION.

The bubbly executive, who has been the face of the BMA for the past eight years, revealed that after two brain surgeries and 13 weeks in hospital, she was very appreciative of life and the things that were really important such as family and friendships.

McKay revealed that she was at home and slowing returning to health.
