University donates to PICU

PATIENTS IN the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital were gifted some much needed supplies this afternoon.

The Good Samaritans are some visiting professors and students from Coastal Carolina University in the United States, who are on a one-week study tour to Barbados.

During the week the public health students will visit several healthcare facilities as well as the World Health Organisation.

This is the first of what is expected to be many such tours to Barbados and presentations to the PICU. (YB)
