CARIBBEAN TRAVEL will take on a more interactive approach if Chloé Walker, Barbados’ newest Junior Minister of Tourism, has her way.

Walker had a chance to articulate her vision for regional travel and tourist arrivals with a focus on LIAT during her speech on Intraregional Travel yesterday.

She was one of the contestants in the Ministry of Tourism’s Annual Speech Competition held at the Lloyd Erskine Sandiford Centre.

The Harrison College student beat out 12 others and will represent Barbados at the upcoming Caribbean Tourism Organisation Regional Annual Youth Congress.

Second place went to Adiel Charles of The St Michael School, while Markeisha Carter of Springer Memorial was third. (LK)
