GOVERNMENT IS EXPECTING to rake in $2.55 billion in revenue over the next 12
months, according to the just-released Estimates of Revenue and Expenditure for the 2015-2016 financial year.
That amount was slightly more than the $2.26 billion that was approved for the current financial year.
In the area of expenditure, the Freundel Stuart-led administration is expected to spend $4.25 billion.
And according to the Estimates document, “the net operating balance is negative $535.3 million or 6.0 per cent of GDP”. (GE)
