BARBADOS IS GETTING a grant of $35 million from the European Union.
Head of Delegation of the European Union to Barbados and the Eastern Caribbean Ambassador Mikael Barfod says the money represents continuing EU support for the island’s Human Resource Development Programme.
Barbados will receive a total of $130 million from the European Union for the programme over several months.
Ambassador Barfod disclosed the figures during a media conference he shared with Minister of Finance Chris Sinckler this morning at Government Headquarters. (TY)
